Every decade, Batman comes into the spotlight to wow new scores of children. They wish they could be as heroic and brave as their idol, and want to have things that show their love for the character. If your child likes Batman, there are crafts that you may do with them that they will no doubt love. This way, they may have a fun and originative time while also using their imagination. Not only that, but it gives them something to do that may keep them busy for hours. The main symbol of the batman comics, television series, and movies is the bat symbol. In the stories, the mayor of Gotham City uses a spotlight in the shape of this bat symbol in order to call Batman in for help. You may make a spotlight like this reasonably easily. All you need is a flashlight, black construction paper, and some tape. Have your child cut out the pat symbol from the paper and cut it into a circle that may fit the lens of the flashlight. Then tape it to the lens. Now, in the dark, your kids may call Batman, too. Another fun way to show appreciation for the reputation of Batman is to act as him yourself. Kids love to imitate their heroes. Batman has a cape, so your kid may help you sew one of these from black fabric. They may then wear this outside or around the home so that they may be more like the reputation that they so love. Most helpful customer reviews 16 of 16 people found the following review helpful. My Superman does not have this problem. The emblem becomes a bit cracked as the cloth suit moves on the figure but after months it looks fine and shows no signs of coming off – but within minutes of removing Batman from his packaging the emblem began to wrinkle and crease and within a week was gone completely. Mind you, this toy is not played with by a child but by a nostalgia ridden adult. I am deeply disappointed. I don’t want my money back, but I guess that is what I will ask for. Mattel is offering returns and reimbursement, but what I want is just a Batman with a Batman logo on his chest. Is that so wrong? 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. I have all the retro Mego figures and Mattel should have stuck with the ORIGINAL molds that will hold a pose. They do not even stand well (they only stand leaning forward or back….not in any way shape or form can you get a normal stance out of them). These are only for MIB collectors because once you get them out of the box you will be really sad. Mattel should send them all back and let Dr Mego do what he does best — Retro Mego toys — not Mattelized pieces of plastic junk! 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. That being said here’s my review of this figure/toy 1) Let’s all take a step back from nostalgia lane and really look at these figures and their price tags. 2)Playability: 1 floppy legs, sad arms, decals in the wind, etc it’s all been said but I’m saying it again 3) based on price and construction obviously these figures are geared for the collector mip market not for playing or kids toys. makes me think of toy story 2, yeah you know what I mean… so if your a collector and “gots to have it” great knock yourself out but if your purchasing….for play well |
